The Postpartum Care Package is the cornerstone of the Wolf Pack practice. Designed to provide deep and comprehensive supportive care for postpartum parents and families, the package includes 30 hours of dedicated doula care for clients to schedule at their pace within 8 weeks following the birth.

During this 8 week period of care, doulas will be responsive to parents seeking additional support between home visits via call/text when needed.

Consistent care over the postpartum period from a skilled doula allows greater familiarity with your family’s needs and support in facing common postpartum challenges.

Step 1: (OPTIONAL) Schedule a Free Consult

Step 2: Reserve Your Care Package

Step 3: Schedule your Introductory Planning Session. Ideally before the birth, this 2 hour session is about getting to know each other, creating a plan for care, familiarizing me with your home (eg. showing me where to take the trash out and how to use appliances, etc)

Step 4: Once your baby arrives, begin scheduling care in 3-hour and 6-hour blocks using our scheduling page. Your 30 hours must be used within 8 weeks after your birth.

Extra support is available for those seeking additional care at the end of the Care Package period.

By offering a sliding scale and payment plans, we hope to ensure that

a) doulas get paid a living wage and

b) payment for service is not an obstacle to care

As part of our mission to make postpartum care affordable to all families, we are seeking partnerships with community health organizations to fund postpartum packages.

If you are seeking financial support with paying for doula services, contact us and we will assist you in finding care.

You may schedule at your leisure for the duration of the 8 weeks using the appointments app on your phone or by texting/calling your doula for availabilities.

When you reserve a Postpartum Care Package, it is the Wolf Pack commitment that you will receive an in-home doula visit within 24 hours and another within 3-5 days of the birth, if you so choose.

This is a crucial time to be available to new parents and newborns.

For the rest of the eight weeks, you may schedule the remainder of the time in 3-hour to 6-hour blocks.

In addition to the Postpartum Care Package, Wolf Pack Doula offers nourishment support, sleep support, lactation support, coaching in elimination communication, and extended postpartum care.

The above are included as part of the Postpartum Care Package.

Extra support sessions may be booked by clients a la carte who are not prior care package clients, or for Postpartum Care Package clients who want to extend care beyond the initial 8 weeks.
